INTRODUCTION

Rishikul Yogshala, headquartered in the heart of the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, has been spreading the wisdom and wellness of yoga in all corners of the world since 2010. A team of highly-trained and distinguished teachers, well-planned course structures, yogic-style accommodation and meals, outstanding excursions, and big family of yoga enthusiasts from all over the world has kept the school going and has provided immense growth to everybody associated with Rishikul Yogshala.

After covering several locations in India and a few neighboring countries such as Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam, Rishikul Yogshala is proud to spread its wings to Iran, also known as Persia in the western world.

LOCATION

With its capital in Tehran, Iran is one of the largest country in the Greater Middle East known for its deserts, oil reserves, soul-touching poetry and beautifully crafted carpets. The mystic country of Iran is perhaps one of the oldest civilizations in the world and even then, it is one of the most modern countries in the world. The country is known for its civility – “Persian Politeness” is an actual term!

Being a country of such interest and nearly 60% of its population under the age of 30, the need and desire for physical, mental, spiritual growth is unending in the country. Keeping this in context, Rishikul Yogshala has chosen Iran as their next chosen country for promoting and implementing the ancient science of Yoga and meditation.

As an initiative, the school has established a branch in the very capital, Tehran, where yoga enthusiast from all over the country are welcome to learn and train under brilliant teachers of Yoga. The center is aimed at providing various programs such as teacher trainings, guided meditation classes, and regular yoga classes.

Furthermore, Rishikul Yogshala now organizes special yoga and meditation workshops, retreats and tours across India and Nepal for visitors from Iran. The school also designs special tours keeping in accordance with the festive calendar of India and Nepal so our Iranian guests can get a glimpse of the culture and practices. The school has also planned workshops and retreats throughout the various magnificent locations of Iran for local as well as western visitors to inspire the union of the East with the West.

OUR REPRESENTATIVE IN IRAN

Our Brand Representative in Iran, Parastoo Pejman, is born and raised in Tehran, Iran. With a deep and enriching experience in the field of Yoga, Parastoo has been practicing the art of yoga and spirituality for the last seven years. She has completed her 20o hour YTTC certification from Rishikul Yogshala and Ashtanga Yoga Alliance certified teacher and is soon planning to pursue her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. An Osho disciple, Parastoo is a world traveler, hiker and photographer.

With her immense knowledge in the field and the zeal to protect this planet from all kinds of violence, Parastoo is highly active in promoting the various programs offered by Rishikul Yogshala in various parts of Iran. Being the program head of Rishikul Yogshala in Iran, she also organizes different yoga tours for her fellow citizens of Iran in various parts of India and Nepal. During her free time, Parastoo likes to indulge in the masterpieces of her favorite author, Rumi. She also takes great interest in Rumi dance, astronomy, Buddhism and Hinduism culture.

YOGA TOURS TO INDIA AND NEPAL

In collaboration with Parastoo, Rishikul Yogshala’s delegate in Iran for all activities conducted in Iran for locals and western tourists as well as for visitors from Iran in India and Nepal, the school has planned the following courses and workshops for:

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in India and Nepal
    Conducted at various locations such as Rishikesh, Dharamshala, and Kerala in India, and Pokhara in Nepal, the 200 hour YTTC program offers beginners and practitioners in the field of yoga a chance to earn a recognized teaching certificate, accredited by Yoga Alliance, enabling them to practice and teach in any part of the world. The 200-hour course comprises the theoretical and practical study of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga along with learning the art meditation, pranayama, cleansing practices, yoga Nidra, adjustment and alignment techniques, chair yoga series. Other substantial subjects include Yoga philosophy, Yoga science, and human anatomy in context to Yoga. The course is supervised by the expert yoga gurus at Rishikul Yogshala. The teachers have been in their respective field for several years and have established a stature of reverence among their students and the society.

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship in Rishikesh and Kerala, India
    Every year, as an effort to give back to the community and to help yoga enthusiasts seek their dream, Rishikul Yogshala conducts scholarship yoga teacher training courses. This ingenuity is specially aimed at those who are unable to undergo or continue their yoga practice due to financial constraints. The project involves similar subjects as the regular program with an added benefit of an opportunity for scholarship students to indulge in various Karma yoga projects. The partial scholarship program requires listed students to pay only for their food and accommodation while the tuition fee is entirely waived off.
  • Visit to Grand Yoga Festivals across India
    India, as the world knows by now, is the motherland of Yoga. Yoga was first practiced in the country 5,000 years ago and since then, the country has acquired knowledge and expertise in the field of yoga, meditation, and spirituality. Every year, India sees various substantial yoga festivals which are not just festivals but a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many national and international guests. Rishikul Yogshala gives an opportunity for all visitors to attend splendid events such as the International Yoga Festival and world Yoga Day.
  • Customized Retreats and Mind-Body Detoxification Holidays in India and Nepal
    Life is hectic these days and it is imperative that we take some time out for ourselves and our well-being every now and then. If this is on your mind but you do not have ample time, Rishikul Yogshala organizes short-term retreats and mind-body detoxification getaways in India and Nepal which can range from a week to 15 days. These short programs also help beginners get a head start and prepare themselves before they commit to a long-term course.

200 hours YTTC scholarship in Rishikesh in August

Rishikul Yogshala has organized a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship program in the month of August. The course is being conducted at the school’s main school in Rishikesh, India. Through this program, Rishikul Yogshala is aiming at providing special opportunities to those yoga enthusiasts who would like to pursue their yoga training but aren’t able to do so due to financial constraints.

The 200-hour Scholarship YTTC program comprises the following:
