Tantra Yoga Teacher Training In India

Along with focusing on Hath and Ashtanga Yoga, our 200 Hour Yoga program in Khajuraho also includes the teachings and practices of the Tantra Yoga science.

What is Tantra Yoga?

Expanding the knowledge of yoga to dig deeper into the soul and its existence, Tantra Yoga symbolizes an expansion of the bond we share with the self and the one we love. Tantra implies ‘expansion or weave’ of the threads of a soul for deeper connection with the much unexplored traits of our existence.

During the sessions of Tantra Yoga, the students explore and intensify the connection with their inner self through to reach the state of self-realization through various sessions and workshop. The yoga helps them develop the ability to establish stronger relationship with themselves and their partners.

Contrary to several misinterpretations about this art being the act of sexual reserves, prohibitions and self control, this science is much distinct than that. Tantra Yoga is about finding the pathway to an enhanced sexual life by forming a soulful connection with the partner. It is about forming a more meaningful and blissful connection with the self.

The creation is built upon two opposing principles – the Shiva who is the holder of immense power and also symbolic of being static, at rest, and the Shakti that denotes movement, energy, creativity. When these two energies combine, this is when a form becomes celestially complete. While the attainment of this relationship is cumbersome, nearly unattainable, it can be awakened and formed through intense practice of Tantra Yoga and Meditation.

Even though a part of the limbs of yoga, Tantra Yoga distinguishes itself from the rest as it combines methods of Ayurveda, Astrology, Gemology, etc.

Through the practice and learning of various postures dedicated to the style of Tantra Yoga, the yogis experience unparalleled mystic of a completely unique style of yoga. The postures studied in Tantra Yoga fuses elements from the limbs of yoga namely, Raja, Bhakti, Karma, Kundalini, and Hatha yoga. During the Tantra Yoga sessions, you get acquainted with the understanding and practice of the key postures used in Tantra science that help you bring closer to yourself.

What is Tantra Meditation in India?

The science of Tantra Yoga is a powerful union of asana (posture), mantra chanting, mudra, bandha (energy lock) and chakra (energy center) that is applied to its full potential through distinctive meditation techniques.

During the process of Tantra meditation, you get introduced to various stages which eventually lead towards contentment and eternal bliss within the self and with the one you share life with.

While the commencement stage is about analysis of the self for realization of the inner being, it progresses towards intense concentration on the prana (or breath) to delve into deeper and more intense state of meditation. During the later stage, you get introduced to various tantric techniques that take you towards eventual salvation.
