Yoga Styles Covered in Our 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Kerala

Hatha Yoga

In Hatha Yoga classes, you will focus on specific alignment, attention to detail and mindful presence. At the same time, refine your postures and enhance your awareness of the subtle relationship between breath, movement, and energy. Throughout, you develop a deep practice of challenging poses, along with attention to body and self-discipline.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

Learn Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga through our 500 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training India module — a deep exploration of the primary and intermediate series with emphasis on breath, alignment, and inner strength. Each progressive alignment cue and modification will help students learn the biomechanics of the pose, creating strength and stability in this highly athletic and energetic practice.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga, an energising, flowing practice where each pose is connected to your breath. The consistent flow is said to enhance stamina, flexibility, and balance, making the practice energising for body and mind.

Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar yoga is known for its attention to detail and correctness of alignment in each yoga posture. Props such as blocks, straps and a blanket support the body and make the practice accessible to all levels. It's a style that can keep you from getting hurt and can build strength safely.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga uses breath, movement, meditation, and chanting to awaken the body's energy. It promotes spiritual growth and mental clarity, grounding the martial art student in his/her inner being.

Yin Yoga

It is a slow-paced type of yoga that holds postures for a few minutes. It extends the deeper fascial structures, helps stimulate relaxation and a meditative mind, and provides a greater range of motion in the joints to which it is targeted.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a gentle form of yoga in which the body is supported with props. The emphasis is on deep relaxation and stress-release, making it a perfect practice for stilling the mind and recharging your energy.
