Frequently Asked Questions about our 100 Hour Yoga Training

∞∞
QWho can sign up for this 100-hour yoga course?

Anyone with an interest in yoga is welcome to join us here in Goa. This course is for beginners. But we do suggest doing a little bit of practice at home before you arrive. Even just reading a few beginner books on yoga can give you a head start. It might make it much easier for you to follow along once the classes begin.

QIs the certificate I get recognized internationally?

When you finish this specific 100-hour program, you will receive a certificate of participation. To get a professional certificate that is recognized worldwide, you would need to complete the second 100-hour phase later on. Once both parts are done, you will have a full 200-hour certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance USA.

QCan I still ask questions about the lessons after class?

We absolutely encourage our students to ask questions. We believe that curiosity is the best way to learn. Whether you have a small doubt or want to go deeper into a topic, our teachers are here to help. Clearing up these questions will help you become a much better practitioner and teacher.

QIs it possible to arrive a few days early or stay a bit longer?

Yes, you are more than welcome to come a day early or stay an extra day after the course ends, as long as we have a room available. Please keep in mind that staying extra days involves an additional cost. It is best to get in touch with us before you travel so we can check our schedule for you.

QDo I have to be flexible to join this training?

This is a very common worry, but the answer is no. You do not need to be flexible to start yoga. You practice yoga to become more flexible over time. We care more about your willingness to learn and your focus than how far you can stretch on your first day.

QWhat kind of meals are provided during the stay?

We serve healthy, vegetarian meals that follow a Sattvic diet. This means the food is fresh, nutritious, and easy to digest, which helps keep your energy levels high for your daily yoga sessions.

QWhat should I pack for my time at the school?

Make sure to bring comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. You should also pack a reusable water bottle, some basic toiletries, and a notebook to write down what you learn. While we provide yoga mats, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

QWill I have any free time to see the local area?

While the training is quite busy and focused, we do make sure you have some downtime. You will usually have Sundays off and some free time in the evenings. This is a great chance to explore the local markets, visit the river, or just relax.

QIs there internet access available at the school?

Yes, we provide Wi-Fi for our students. However, we often suggest that you try to unplug as much as possible during your stay. This helps you stay focused on your training and your own personal growth without too many outside distractions.

QWhat if I find certain poses too difficult?

Our teachers are very experienced and know how to work with all body types. If a certain pose is too hard for you, they will show you how to use props or offer a simpler version of the move. We want you to challenge yourself, but we always prioritize your safety and comfort.
